The Elementary Teacher provides high-quality instruction and a positive learning environment for students in grades K–5. This role requires strong classroom management, effective planning, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Plan and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE).

Design engaging lessons that integrate literacy, math, science, and social studies skills.

Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.

Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including students receiving EIP, ESOL, gifted, and special education services.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, grades, and parent communication.

Communicate regularly with families to share progress and support student learning.

Participate in grade-level collaboration, professional learning communities (PLCs), and schoolwide initiatives.

Integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction and student engagement.

Demonstrate professionalism, ethical behavior, and a commitment to continuous learning.
