Stephens County Advancement Academy is seeking a dedicated and dynamic High School Teacher to join our instructional team. The ideal candidate is student-centered, skilled in fostering positive learning environments, and committed to supporting academic success for all learners.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction.

• Develop lesson plans that differentiate for diverse learners and incorporate best practices.

• Use data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and respectful classroom environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance student learning.

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and behavior.

• Participate in professional learning, faculty meetings, and school-wide initiatives.

• Maintain accurate records for grades, attendance, and required documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

• Valid teaching certificate in appropriate content area.

• Demonstrated understanding of effective instructional strategies.

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching at the high school level.

• Familiarity with technology-integrated instruction and digital learning tools.

• Experience supporting diverse learners.
